Great question. At Mama Mei’s, we believe we have a social duty to interact responsibly with the world around us. This includes sourcing recyclable packaging. We have tried our best to ensure that all our packaging can be either recycled or repurposed. Stay tuned on our blog, Get in the Dough, for some ideas of how you can reuse our packaging.
As a new business, we are not yet accepting returns of our pizza dough containers. However, keep a look out as it is in our growth plans to start a Mama Mei’s Recycling Programme which you can opt into.

Yes, our dough is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. (So is our pizza sauce!)
You can safely keep your fresh pizza dough in the fridge for up to two days, inclusive of the day of delivery. For example, if your delivery occurs on a Friday, you'll be able to enjoy it that evening or by the end of Saturday. We also encourage pizza breakfast, brunch, lunch, linner…whatever takes your fancy!
You can freeze your dough portions in the container they came in for up to 1 month.
To defrost, simply place your pizza dough pots in the fridge for 24 hours. On the day of pizza night (or breakfast or lunch, we don’t judge), take out your dough from the fridge and leave it rest at room temperature for 2-3 hours. For best results, make sure the dough reaches room temperature so it’s easy to stretch.

We deliver 6 days a week, including weekends! Our delivery times are:
Tuesday to Friday: 7am to 7pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9am to 5pm
As we’re just starting out, our current delivery is to the following London postcodes:
SW18, SW19, SW17, SW15, SW20 & SW6
Delivery within SW18 is free. Delivery to the surrounding postcodes above is £2 only.
You will receive your delivery on the day that you select at checkout.
In case you’re not home when your pizza dough arrives, we'll leave your order wherever you have requested at checkout – on your doorstep, with a neighbour, behind the gate, in the recycling box. If we can’t leave it safely, we will leave a note and attempt to redeliver later that day, or the very next day.
There’s no need to rush home as our dough can be left out at room temperature and will remain fresh. In fact, your dough will be closer to room temperature which means closer to being ready to stretch and eat!
We’re just starting out so, for now, delivery is available for free in SW18. Delivery to surrounding areas (SW19, SW17, SW15, SW20 & SW6) is £2 only.
If you're just outside these areas, a delivery can easily be arranged, please get in touch with us using our contact form here!
Of course, we all have prerogative to change our minds! Orders can be amended or cancelled 24 hours in advance of your selected delivery date. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
